On the morning of June 29, the Party Committee and government of Cam Ranh ward coordinated with the Steering Committee for searching, gathering and identifying martyrs' remains of Khanh Hoa province to deploy the collection of biological samples of martyrs' remains at Cam Ranh Martyrs' Cemetery to serve DNA testing.
Cam Ranh Martyrs Cemetery is currently burying 323 martyrs, including 39 graves whose identities have not been identified.
In this phase, all 39 martyrs' remains without identification information were sampled for DNA testing, gradually identifying the martyrs who sacrificed.
The sampling aims to contribute to meeting the aspirations of martyrs' relatives, and at the same time effectively implement policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Biological sampling work was deployed in two days, June 29 and 30.
The activity is part of the "Operation 500 days and nights to promote the search, repatriation and identification of martyrs' remains".
The activity aims to express deep gratitude to heroic martyrs, and at the same time express the determination of the locality in effectively implementing gratitude work.
