According to the Department of Construction, in the past time, investors, contractors and related units have paid attention to implementing regulations on labor safety, environmental sanitation and fire prevention and fighting.
However, in reality, there are still some limitations such as construction measures not ensuring safety, construction site barriers not meeting safety and urban aesthetic requirements; environmental protection has not been fully implemented, and inspection and supervision at the site are still formalistic.
A part of workers still has a subjective mentality during construction. To proactively prevent labor accidents and limit the risk of unsafety at the construction site, the Department of Construction requests agencies and units to continue to review and strictly implement the directions of the Ministry of Construction and regulations on construction quality management, construction safety, and construction order.
Investors, contractors and construction units must develop and approve safety construction measures; develop labor safety procedures at the construction site; clearly assign responsibilities to each department and individual.
At the same time, strengthen propaganda and training to raise awareness and awareness of law compliance for workers; promote self-inspection and supervision of the implementation of regulations on labor safety.
The Department of Construction also requested the People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones to strengthen construction order inspection according to their authority, promptly detect and handle violations of construction order, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting during construction.
For cases of violations of labor safety regulations that may cause unsafety at the construction site, relevant organizations and individuals must stop construction to immediately rectify and ensure safety for workers.
Violations will be strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
