On August 4, Dak Nong Power Company (PC Dak Nong) announced that it had coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation to commend and reward 29 individuals who had excellently completed the task of strengthening and supporting the construction of the 500kV Circuit 3 transmission line project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen).
Accordingly, the 500kV Circuit 3 transmission line project from Quang Trach to Pho Noi is a national key project aimed at enhancing the power transmission capacity on the North - Central 500kV transmission line. Thereby, contributing to increasing electricity supply for the North, ensuring the power grid operates safely, continuously, and stably.
The project has a total of 1,177 pole foundation positions with a total investment of about 22,300 billion VND, passing through 9 provinces, including Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong - Director of PC Dak Nong - said: "The unit has dispatched a shock team consisting of 29 staff members who are engineers and workers with good health, excellent skills, and experience in construction and installation of transmission lines.
The unit was assigned to erect the pole at position 231 in the Thuong Loc area (Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province). The construction site is on a mountain, steep, very difficult to access, with a two-level construction site, pole height of 78.3 meters, and nearly 200 tons of steel.
Upon receiving the project construction site, the shock team quickly approached the site, performed various tasks such as checking the foundation surface to ensure construction; researching the plan to erect the steel pipe pole, and arranging personnel in charge of work on the site. After nearly 2 months of project construction, the shock team completed the pole construction as planned."
The Director of PC Dak Nong acknowledged, highly appreciated, and commended the determination and resolute spirit of the 29 staff members and workers in completing their tasks.
Also at the commendation ceremony, the Dak Nong Provincial Labor Federation awarded certificates of merit to 29 members and workers of PC Dak Nong who had excellently completed their work, labor, and production, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
