According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, Cam Ranh International Port has international standard infrastructure, very convenient for large international ships to dock, anchor, and passengers to disembark and disembark without having to transfer.
The Port is located about 60 km from the center of Nha Trang City, the travel time by road is 3-4 hours, while the ship anchors at the Port for only 8-10 hours/trip for visitors.

In Nha Trang, there is currently Ana Marina Port (Vinh Hoa Ward) that meets the standards for serving international cruise and cruise ship passengers. This area does not have an international cruise ship anchorage area, only anchorage area A (near Nha Trang Port), the distance to Ana Marina Port is more than 4 nautical miles, so it is impossible to use transfer ships (Tenders) to bring passengers to Ana Marina Port.
According to the recommendations of businesses welcoming international cruise ships, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to study and survey Nha Trang Tourist Wharf and areas that can receive transit ships from international cruise ships anchored in announced areas to welcome guests.
The Department of Tourism also recommended that the Provincial People's Committee request Tan Cang Cam Ranh Company Limited to continue reporting to the Naval Region 4 Command to remove obstacles and difficulties for businesses receiving ships at Cam Ranh International Port. At the same time, work with businesses receiving ships on appropriate fees to provide maximum support for businesses.
Propose that Tan Cang Cam Ranh Company Limited coordinate with international shipping operators to research and survey to unify some contents and conditions for receiving passengers at Cam Ranh International Port, and study and plan to bring international ships to Cam Ranh Port in the near future.
