Normally, traffic police will use the method of checking the driver's urine. There is now a 5-prong test that can test for drugs such as meth, marijuana, ecstasy, opium, heroin, and cocaine. This test will only take a few minutes, with accurate results. When detecting a case of a vehicle driver containing drugs in his or her body, the authorities will draw up a record of penalties and penalties for driving a vehicle on the road with drugs in the body. will include fines and revocation of the driver's license .
In addition to the fine, the violator will also have the right to use a driver's license or certificate of training in road traffic law knowledge (for drivers of specialized motorbikes) revoked for 22-24 months. Along with that, the vehicle will be impounded for this violation.
According to the authorities, a driver on the road who has drugs in his body that causes accidents to others can be prosecuted for criminal liability for violating regulations on road traffic participation according to Article 10. 260 Penal Code.
