Lao Cai spends 156 billion VND to repair many national highways and provincial roads

Lao Cai - The province is implementing a series of projects to repair and overcome degraded sections and ensure safety on many national highways and provincial roads.

On September 11, information from the People's Committee of Lao Cai province, the province has just approved 6 road repair and maintenance projects with a total investment of 156 billion VND, implemented in the period 2026-2027.

The projects focus on repairing the foundation, road surface, drainage system, traffic safety works and some bridges on many key routes. Specifically, DT. 165 Mau A - Tan Nguyen route is allocated 18.5 billion VND to repair degraded sections in Mau A commune.

National Highway 2D through Yen Binh commune and Van Phu ward is invested with 31.6 billion VND; National Highway 32 through Van Chan and Gia Hoi communes is invested with 31.6 billion VND.

DT. 163 Yen Bai - Khe Sang route is allocated 30.4 billion VND to repair more than 4.6km of road. National Highway 70 through Yen Binh commune is invested 24.9 billion VND, including repairing Khuon Do bridge and Khuon La I bridge.

On National Highway 4D through Ta Phin commune, the project repairs more than 3.2km of road with a cost of 19 billion VND.

Projects using economic career capital for road management and maintenance, to overcome damage, improve operational capacity and ensure traffic safety on roads.
