According to Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance, the schedule for paying pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2025 at the same payment period in January 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City is as follows:
For those receiving money through personal accounts, pensions and social insurance benefits for January and February 2025 will be transferred to the beneficiary's account from January 2, 2025 (because January 1 is New Year's Day).
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will transfer the second installment of pension and social insurance benefits (for cases that are eligible for monthly pension and social insurance benefits from December 21, 2024 to January 17, 2025) on January 23, 2025.
For pensioners and cash benefits recipients, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office will organize payments from January 4, 2025 to February 25, 2025 (except for weekly holidays, holidays, and Tet according to regulations).
Because the Lunar New Year 2025 falls on January 29, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Social Security encourages pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries to receive their pensions and social insurance benefits early at post office payment points before January 25, 2025.
