Elderly, sick and unable to travel in Quang Nam will have postal workers come to their homes to pay their pensions and social insurance benefits.

On December 24, Quang Nam Social Insurance (BHXH) announced that from January 3 to January 25, 2025, the unit will coordinate with the Provincial Post Office to combine the payment of 2 months of pension and social insurance benefits (January and February 2025), into the same payment period in January for beneficiaries.

Accordingly, the provincial Social Insurance will provide timely advance funds to the provincial Post Office to pay for nearly 21,000 pension and social insurance benefits in the whole province, before the Lunar New Year.

For cash recipients, the provincial post office will make combined payments for January and February 2025 in the same payment period of January 2025, ensuring completeness, timeliness, safety, and completion of payment before January 25, 2025.

For the elderly, lonely, sick, or infirm who are unable to come to receive the money, postal staff will deliver it to their home.
