As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on the evening of December 17, social networks were abuzz with an article by an account named H.S. posting content about being brutally beaten by two women in a rented room in Quang Trung Ward (Thai Nguyen City), causing this person to be hospitalized.
Currently being treated at the Department of Neurosurgery, Thai Nguyen Central General Hospital, Ms. Sam Thi H (born in 1997, residing in Cao Bang province) is still shocked and terrified every time she remembers.
Ms. H said the incident happened around 7:00 p.m. on December 14. While she was alone in her rented room, she heard a group of people outside asking her to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, two women suddenly rushed in. They continuously used insulting words and attacked her by repeatedly hitting her head with their hands, leaving her unable to fight back. She could only panic and hold her head in pain.
"At that time, I didn't understand what was happening because it was so sudden. They said I had insulted them, and before I could explain, these two people rushed in and beat me. They pressed me onto the bed, grabbed my hair, hit me in the face with a slipper, and then slammed my head hard against the table, causing a lot of bleeding," Ms. H recalled in horror.
According to the victim, when she ran outside to call for help, one of the women stomped on the floor and continued to brutally assault her. The incident only stopped when a neighbor saw and intervened.
Immediately afterwards, Ms. H was taken to the emergency room by locals with a head injury, bruises around her eyes, and skin lacerations that required 7 stitches...
"My whole body still aches, my head hurts, I feel dizzy and nauseous. I have to rely on my friends to help me with all my daily activities. Since the fight, the people who assaulted me have not come to apologize but have challenged and threatened me.
The incident has left me unable to work, and I also have a 4-year-old child. I have had to borrow money to pay for all expenses since the incident, and I don't know what to do now," said Ms. H.
On December 18, speaking with reporters, Mr. Luu Anh Canh - Chairman of Quang Trung Ward People's Committee - said that the locality had grasped information about the incident.
"The ward police have sent me a report. The locality is requesting further verification to handle it according to regulations. According to the ward police report, the identities of the two subjects in the above case were identified as: Tran Phuong Th (born in 1978, residing in Quang Trung ward, Thai Nguyen city) and Tran Thi Bich V (born in 1982, residing in Trung Vuong ward, Thai Nguyen city). These two people are biological sisters. There are many students and workers in the area, so it is quite complicated" - the leader added.
