On November 13, information from the leader of the People's Committee of Tan Ky district (Nghe An) said that Mr. N.D.H, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghia Hoan commune, was just discovered dead by his relatives in a hanging position.
The incident was discovered at around 9am the same day, when Mr. H’s wife returned from a medical examination and discovered Mr. H had died by hanging behind the family’s kitchen. The family quickly reported the incident to the authorities.
According to his family, Mr. H was born in 1970 and recently discovered that he had a thyroid-related disease. Before he passed away, Mr. H left a letter saying that he did not want to be a burden to his family.
Authorities have organized an investigation to clarify the cause of the incident.
