On the afternoon of August 11, speaking with reporters, Mr. Ngo Van Huynh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Tien Son Ward (Ninh Binh) - said that the unit is assigning the ward police to verify and clarify the incident of a worker being assaulted by a security guard right in front of the gate of a company located in the ward.
"The incident occurred on August 9, in the area in front of the gate of Wistron Infocomm Company Limited, in Dong Van III Industrial Park" - Mr. Huynh said.
Previously, a video clip of more than 20 seconds appeared on social media recording the scene of two men wearing protective uniforms repeatedly punching a male worker.
After punching and kicking him repeatedly, the male worker collapsed and lay motionless on the road in front of many people.
When the male worker was released from prison, the two men in the above security uniforms left and entered the company gate.
Immediately afterwards, the incident spread on social media, many people expressed their anger at the actions of the two people who were said to be company security guards.
The case is being investigated, verified and clarified by the authorities.
