Lang Son Provincial People's Committee has just approved the adjustment of the investment policy for Loc Binh Bridge No. 1 project, traffic road and Luc Thon commune resettlement area, Loc Binh district (now Loc Binh commune).
Accordingly, the length of Loc Binh Bridge No. 1 was adjusted from 140m to 142.35m. The connecting road from National Highway 4B to the bridgehead increased from 640m to 743.76m, while the main road of Luc Thon commune extending from Loc Binh Bridge No. 1 to the connecting area of Loc Binh Bridge No. 2 was also adjusted to increase by nearly 6m, reaching a length of more than 1.25km.
Luc Thon resettlement area is expanded from 2.2ha to 2.34ha, and at the same time adds many infrastructure items such as new internal roads, parking lots, green tree systems, ground leveling and technical works serving residents.
Notably, the project is supplemented with a reinforced embankment system on both sides of the bridge abutment with a total length of about 600m to increase the ability to prevent landslides, protect the project in extreme weather conditions and fluctuating flow volume according to seasons.
According to the adjusted plan, the land use area of the project increased from 8.13ha to 14.29ha, equivalent to an increase of 6.16ha. The land area of the counterpart project also increased from 51.72ha to nearly 63ha.
The total investment after adjustment is determined to be more than 482.15 billion VND, an increase of more than 92 billion VND compared to the most recent adjustment plan approved in 2024.
In the cost structure, the construction part accounts for more than 266.6 billion VND; compensation and resettlement support costs are more than 68.4 billion VND; contingency costs are over 69 billion VND.
The capital for project implementation is arranged by the investor with a total value of more than 443 billion VND. Of which, equity accounts for nearly 124 billion VND, equivalent to 27.86%; the rest is legally mobilized capital.
Lang Son Provincial People's Committee also adjusted the project implementation time to extend to 2027.
Loc Binh Bridge No. 1 is one of the key traffic infrastructure projects of the old Loc Binh district. The project is implemented in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
The project started in April 2024 and is currently being accelerated by construction units to complete the items according to the set plan.
