At sea, the Hoang Sa archipelago has northeast winds gradually increasing to level 6-7, gusting to level 8, waves 2-4m high, and rough seas from November 25 to the evening of November 26.
Previously, heavy rain caused landslides in many mountainous areas, deeply flooding residential areas in Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces from the afternoon of November 23 and 24.
In Quang Nam, on November 25, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue issued a document requesting the operation of the hydropower reservoirs Dak Mi 4, A Vuong, Song Bung 2, Song Bung 4, and Song Tranh 2 to respond to heavy rain.
The Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requested Dak Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company, A Vuong Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Song Bung Hydropower Company, and Song Tranh Hydropower Company to adjust, proactively calculate, and organize the operation of hydropower reservoirs to ensure that the water level of the reservoirs is not higher than the elevation. Switch the operating mode according to the provisions of Procedure 1865.
Dak Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company announced to regulate water through the gate of Dak Mi 4 Hydropower Reservoir, with a flow rate of 50 to 400m3/s from the beginning of November 24.
The water level of Dak Mi 4 hydropower reservoir is 256.01m, the water flow into the reservoir is 384.91m3/s, the water flow through the generator is 109.86m3/s, the water flow through the spillway is 188.75m3/s.
Dak Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company requests local authorities and relevant units to promptly deploy response work to natural disasters, floods, and inundation in accordance with regulations issued by competent authorities.
From November 21 to now, in Quang Nam province, there has been rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain in some places. In Nam Tra My district, heavy rain caused 4 landslides on the road to Ong Deo village, village 2, Tra Don. On route DH3, rocks and soil slid down the road. On route DH6, there was a landslide at one point on the negative slope in village 1, Tra Don, the landslide on the negative slope created a "frog jaw" under the concrete road. Route DH9, near Dong Truong Son, village 3, Tra Mai commune, had a landslide on the negative slope.
In Bac Tra My district, there are 2 landslides on National Highway 24C, running through Tra Nu and Tra Giang communes. Heavy rain caused the positive slope soil and rock to slide down to the road surface at km80+00, National Highway 40B, Tra Giac intersection, Bac Tra My district, with a volume of soil and rock of about 2,500m3, causing traffic jams. Currently, Quang Nam Road Management and Construction Joint Stock Company has mobilized forces and vehicles to clear the landslide soil and rock and has opened the first step to traffic.
