Hydropower reservoirs in the North on the morning of July 27th were lower than the normal water level, in which Hoa Binh reservoir discharged 4,442 m3/s, Son La reservoir discharged 3,205 m3/s through the plant.

According to updated data at 8:00 am on July 27, in the Northeast region, Tuyen Quang reservoir has a water level of 107.21 m, 120 m lower than the normal water level. The water flow to the reservoir reached 898 m3/s, total discharge volume of 1,227.5 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 507 m3/s and through the plant was 720.5 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau Lake has a water level of 287.23 m, a water inflow of 1,894 m3/s, and a total discharge of 1,535 m3/s through the plant. Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 469.87 m, a water inflow of 210 m3/s, and a total discharge of 96 m3/s through the plant.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 369.88 m, close to the normal water level of 370 m, water inflow of 244 m3/s and no discharge at the time of update.

Son La Lake has a water level of 198.07 m, a water inflow of 2,712 m3/s, and a total discharge of 3,205 m3/s through the plant.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 101.04 m, which is 117 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake reached 3,955 m3/s, total discharge volume 4,442 m3/s, of which discharge through the spillway was 1,486 m3/s and through the plant was 2,956 m3/s.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 52.17 m, a water inflow rate of 275 m3/s and a total discharge rate of 445.78 m3/s through the plant.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting on July 27, the Northern region will be sunny with the highest temperature around 31 - 34 degrees C. In the late afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain.

The Central Highlands area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and night, with locally heavy rain.

The Southern region has rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms, locally heavy to very heavy rain. Rain concentrates in the afternoon and night.
