The water level of many hydropower reservoirs in the Northern region is lower than the normal water level.

According to synchronous data at 12:45 on September 9, Tuyen Quang reservoir has an upstream water level of 114.29 m, lower than the normal water level of 5.71 m. The inflow to the reservoir reached 193 m3/s, total discharge volume 90 m3/s.

In the Northwest region, Lai Chau reservoir has a water level of 288.96 m, 6.04 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the reservoir is 1,034 m3/s, total discharge is 1,124 m3/s, all through the spillway dam.

Son La Lake has a water level of 209.89 m, lower than the normal water level by 5.11 m. The water flow to the lake reached 2,083 m3/s, the total discharge volume was 1,527 m3/s through the spillway.

Hoa Binh Lake has a water level of 109.26 m, 7.74 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to lake 1. 107 m3/s, total discharge 2. 170 m3/s through the spillway.

Ban Chat Lake has a water level of 471.09 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.91 m and higher than the dead water level by 40.09 m. Water flow to the lake is 53 m3/s, total discharge is 239 m3/s.

Huo Huoi Quang Lake has a water level of 368.17 m, 1.83 m lower than the normal water level. Water flow to the lake is 250 m3/s, total discharge is 358 m3/s through the spillway.

Thac Ba Lake has a water level of 54.74 m, lower than the normal water level by 3.26 m. Water flow to the lake is 185 m3/s, total discharge is 457.06 m3/s through the spillway.
