On August 12, the Military Command of Son Tra Ward, Da Nang City, said that the unit had just coordinated with rescue forces to successfully rescue a male student who fell into a deep abyss in the Son Tra mountain area.
The incident happened at about 8 pm on August 11, the victim was identified as N.T. L. (born in 2007), a student studying in Da Nang, residing in Hoi An ward, Da Nang.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Military Command of Son Tra Ward and rescue forces quickly approached the scene.
At the time of the incident, it was already dark, while the area where the victim encountered the accident had steep and dangerous terrain, and access was potentially dangerous. The forces had to use rescue ropes and specialized equipment to go down to the deep area and determine the location of the victim.
After the rescue process, the male student was brought from the abyss to a safe location. Fortunately, the victim's health is currently stable.
The incident occurred in the context of Son Tra peninsula continuously recording dangerous incidents.
Previously, in the Mui Nghe area, Son Tra, a group of people while sightseeing were swept into the sea by waves. Functional forces rescued 2 people, while the remaining 2 people are still missing and are being organized for widespread search.
