On July 28, Dak O Commune People's Committee (Dong Nai City) is organizing forces to search for an animal suspected of being a crocodile that appeared in the area.
Previously, in the afternoon of July 25, some people going to work in the fields when passing through Cay Xanh bridge area (Bu Xia village, Dak O commune) discovered an animal swimming in the stream, suspected to be a crocodile. The information was immediately reported to the authorities.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces quickly deployed a plan to encircle and arrest. Initially, it was determined that this animal is suspected to be a crocodile with an estimated weight of more than 10 kg.
Search work over the past 2 days has encountered many obstacles due to the long stream and complex terrain on both banks. Trees and weeds grow lushly interspersed with dense bamboo and bushes, obscuring visibility.
Currently, the locality will release bait at some suspicious locations with strange traces to catch the animal soon, ensuring safety for people. Local authorities also recommend that people, especially young children, do not come to the stream area.
