In recent days, Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities have entered the peak of a period of intense heat with high temperatures from early morning and lasting until late afternoon. Streets have become hot and stuffy, making moving and working outdoors more difficult for many people.

On March 30, recorded on major roads such as 3 Thang 2, Nguyen Van Cu, Cach Mang Thang Tam... at noon, the number of traffic participants decreased significantly compared to normal days. People when going out must be fully equipped from jackets, masks to sunglasses.

Ho Chi Minh City is hot and sunny, with high temperatures, so driving outdoors is quite tiring. I have to bring a large water bottle and find a cool shelter during peak sunny hours to protect my health" - Mr. Le Quoc Hung, a technology driver, said.

Beverage stalls are also more crowded these days. Sugarcane juice, kumquat tea, orange juice... are bought by people to cool down. Many roadside selling points are always crowded, especially at noon and early afternoon.

According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 24 hours, Ho Chi Minh City has experienced increased heat and widespread heat with the highest temperature recorded at So Sao 35.8 degrees C, Tan Son Nhat 35 degrees C.
Forecast for the next 24 to 48 hours, hot sun will occur in some places in the central and northern areas of Ho Chi Minh City. Highest temperature 35-36 degrees C.
Hot weather combined with low air humidity makes the weather very uncomfortable and easily affects the health of sensitive subjects such as the elderly and young children, as well as those who are exposed to the sun for a long time. In addition, this weather also comes with the risk of fires and explosions in residential areas and forest fires.
