The day my child went missing
Coming back to the family of Ms. Le Thi Phuong (60 years old, in Khai Dong village, Xuan Hoa commune, the old Tho Xuan district - now Xuan Hoa commune, Thanh Hoa province), we could not help but be moved by her story. Up to now, she has spent more than half of her life missing her first son.

Ms. Phuong said that in 1987, she and her husband gave birth to Mr. Le Ba Truong. Three years later, when the family had just welcomed a second son, tragedy happened.
In September 1990, a woman named Le Thi Thoa (born in 1963, residing in Xuan Thien commune, Tho Xuan old), who was familiar with Mrs. Phuong's brother's family, came to the house to play. Seeing Truong with redness in her legs, Mrs. Thoa suggested taking her to the doctor. Thinking that she was an acquaintance of her brother, her family agreed. However, since then, Ms. Thoa has been "untrustworthy".
The day the incident occurred, the family immediately went to find him and reported it to the police, but it was too late. Shortly after, Mrs. Thoa sent a letter saying "due to busy work, I haven't been able to take my grandchild home". That letter was also lost in the great flood of 1997.
Since that day, an endless void has always existed in me, every night I miss my child so much that I cant sleep. If I did not agree to let her take him away that day, then why would this be a big deal, Ms. Phuong choked up.
Many years have passed without any news about her children, in 1993, her husband, Mr. Le Ba Son, left home and searched everywhere. Unfortunately, in 2004, Mr. Son had an accident and passed away while his journey to find a child was still unfinished. Mrs. Phuong returned to her hometown alone to raise her two young children, working in the fields, renting, and saving every penny to continue searching for her missing child.
The tiring journey of searching in search of hope
After 35 years, Ms. Phuong's family did not know how many times they had followed the clues. Once they went all the way to Quang Ninh and stayed there for 10 days to search but to no avail. Ms. Phuong also participated in the program "Nhu co don thuan lyric", sending petitions for help everywhere, but her son's achievements were still untrue.

"Once I saved money for a whole year to look for a child, sometimes when the house was full, I had to borrow interest. I just hope to know what my child's news is like now, so that when the end of my life comes, I can close my eyes and feel secure," Ms. Phuong confided.
Her second son, Le Ba Van, grew up without a brother, witnessing his mother suffering many times. He and his mother had gone to look for him, but many times he was taken advantage of by bad guys, impersonating police officers to defraud him of nearly 100 million VND. "Now I just hope to meet Mrs. Thoa again to know information about Mr. Truong, so that my mother can feel secure. My family will not prosecute any more, Mr. Van shared.
Mr. Le Xuan Quyen - Head of Khai Dong village, confirmed the incident: "At the time of the incident, the family and the villagers had organized a search but there were no results. Since then, Ms. Phuong's family has been in a very difficult situation. Hopefully, through the press and social networks, Mr. Truong can be found again soon".
According to the family, when missing, Le Ba Truong weighed about 8kg, had a high nose like his father, had dark skin, a round face, and double eyelids. anyone who has information about Ms. Le Thi Thoa or Mr. Le Ba Truong, please contact by phone: 0984267869 (Mr. Van).
