Shopping for Tet, the end of the season "liquidated" right away
After Tet, the trend of liquidating items to save costs is becoming more and more common.
Many people take advantage of online platforms to resell unused items that optimize finances and create opportunities for others to own quality items at affordable prices.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Phuong Anh (Cau Giay, Hanoi) shared: "At the end of the year, I bought many new clothes to wear during Tet, but in fact I only wore them once to take pictures. After Tet, I decided to liquidate and recover some of the costs, and help others buy new items at a more reasonable price."

Not only clothes, many personal items and home decorations such as flashing lights, ornamental plants... are also being sold after Tet when they are no longer suitable for the living space.
Mr. Dinh Quoc Dai (Hanoi) shared: "I liquidate my clothes, shoes, accessories and handbags. Although only half of the price was initially collected, it was still better not to be used".

For many young people, the trend of "buying and liquidating" not only helps balance personal finances but also helps to maximize the value of the product and encourages a frugal and sustainable lifestyle.
Ms. Nguyen Trang Thao (Hanoi) shared: "I posted it on Facebook groups, taking clear photos, reasonable prices. After only one week, more than half of the items have new owners".

Shopping and liquidation - utility trends or waste?
In an interview with Lao Dong Newspaper, Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong - former Head of the Economic Research Department, Hanoi Institute for Research and Development - said that instead of waiting after Tet to liquidate excess clothes, young people should practice saving right before Tet.
According to Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong, the habit of over-solding during Tet comes from the psychological dramatism store during the subsidy period - when goods are scarce - and the concept of "rich three days of Tet".
However, in the current context, this becomes wasted when the service is developed and the supply of goods is more abundant.
Therefore, young people should choose reasonable consumption, set personal financial plannings, prioritize quality products and have long -term value.
