Viettel Thanh Hoa: using information rescue boats and station rescue
Storm No. 5 Kajiki has made landfall in the North Central region and caused severe impacts in Thanh Hoa province. With strong gusts of wind from level 9 to 11, common rainfall of 200 to 300mm lasting from August 25 to 26 and currently continuing, causing many areas to be deeply flooded, landslides and locally isolated, posing a major challenge for rescue work and ensuring communication.

In Cam Thuy, Tho Xuan and Ha Trung, many BTS stations were deeply submerged in water. The technical team had to use boats to approach, move equipment out of the danger zone, and erect temporary barriers and deploy pumps to minimize damage. In mountainous districts such as Ba Thuoc, Quan Hoa, Thuong Xuan, landslides, cable breaks and the risk of flooding are still very high, forcing technical forces to be on duty 24/7.

From the night of August 25 to the morning of August 26, hundreds of Viettel Thanh Hoa officers and employees stayed up all night to fix the problem, weld each fiber optic cable in the rain, take advantage of the lunch box in the truck bed and continue to rescue. Thanks to that, the basic information network is still maintained to serve the direction of the government and the communication needs of the people.
