A representative of the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC&CNCH) of Hanoi City Police said that on the morning of June 25, a fire broke out at a 5-storey house, located at 66 Cong Ke, Ninh Hiep Commune (Gia Lam District, Hanoi).
Immediately after receiving the report, the Gia Lam District Fire Prevention and Rescue Working Group dispatched 2 fire trucks and forces to the scene to put out the fire.
At the scene, the authorities deployed many approaches to control the fire. At around 10am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
At the time of the fire, there were 4 people in the house. Discovering the fire, people nearby climbed onto the porch on the first floor, using a ladder to help the victims escape safely.
The fire did not cause any human casualties; property damage is being counted. The cause of the incident is being further investigated and clarified by the authorities.
