The Prime Minister has just issued Decision No. 1270/QD-TTg dated June 24, 2025 promulgating a list of public service units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Accordingly, public service units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be reorganized.
Co Loa studio and the Center for Cinema Engineering will merge into the Vietnam Cultural, Sports and Tourism Center. This center was renamed the Vietnam Cultural, Sports and Tourism Cinema Center, to be completed before August 1.
Cai Luong Vietnam Theater, Vietnam Cheo Theater, Vietnam Tuong Theater merge into the National Traditional Theater of Vietnam.
Merge the Viet Bac folk Song, Dance and Music Theater into the Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theater and change the name of the Vietnam Song, Dance and Music Theater to the Vietnam National Song, Dance and Music Theater.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has 50 affiliated public service units. The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism is responsible for reviewing and implementing the arrangement of public service units under his authority to ensure streamlining of the organization, promoting financial autonomy, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations according to the public service unit arrangement plan approved by competent authorities and current regulations.
