During the Lunar New Year, Dak Lak provincial authorities require tourism businesses in the area to ensure conditions regarding facilities and publicly post prices. The units must not allow violations in the fields of tourism business, food safety, and environmental sanitation.

Tourism businesses must arrange for rescue forces to be on duty 24/7 to ensure absolute safety for tourists, especially children, when participating in recreational activities.

Striving to welcome 1.5 million visitors

In 2025, Dak Lak province's tourism industry aims to achieve total revenue of VND 1,250 billion, an increase of VND 100 billion compared to 2024. The total number of visitors is expected to reach 1,500,000, an increase of 100,000 compared to the same period last year.

A key task is to promote and advertise to serve tourists at the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, taking place in 2025.

According to the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, the province is focusing on implementing a project to develop agricultural eco-tourism associated with new rural construction.

The delegation conducted surveys to develop new tourism products, including agricultural, rural, community, craft village tourism and OCOP products.

Authorities have also stepped up inspection and supervision during the investment, construction and exploitation of tourist attractions. This is to limit the situation of suspended projects or small-scale investment, which does not ensure progress due to lack of financial resources.

The province prioritizes budget allocation to implement tourism promotion activities both domestically and internationally. The goal is to attract more tourists and investors to Dak Lak, contributing to the sustainable development of the local tourism industry.
