According to Plan 375/KH-UBND 2024 of the Hanoi People's Committee, the city will display fireworks on New Year's Eve 2025 at 5 locations with 6 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays.
Battlefield No. 1: Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters).
Battlefield 2: Hoan Kiem District (in front of Hanoi Post Office).
Battlefield No. 3: Nam Tu Liem District (at F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward).
Battlefield No. 4: Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward).
Battlefield No. 5: Son Tay Town (Son Tay Citadel).
Battlefield No. 6: Dong Anh District (Dong Anh District Sports Center).
Of which, high-altitude fireworks: Total 3,600 fireworks (600 fireworks per site); low-altitude fireworks: Total 540 sets (90 sets per site).
Time of firing: From 00:00 to 00:15 on January 1, 2025.
The place where people will gather is usually Hoan Kiem Lake. People can stand around the lake, on the sidewalks of surrounding streets such as Ba Trieu, Trang Thi, Hang Dao with a straight view of the lake, less obscured.
Or choose to sit at the rooftop cafes around this area such as: Highland Coffee (Ham Ca Map building), HaNoiTime Coffee (Dinh Tien Hoang), Skyline (Gia Ngu), Rooftop (Pacific Place building, Ly Thuong Kiet street)...
However, these locations are very popular and often fill up early, so you should book early.
You should also leave early, park your vehicle in safe, secure locations, and be careful with your belongings.
If you want to watch fireworks at the site in Nam Tu Liem district (at the F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward), people can stand at the rooftop cafe area around My Dinh stadium or the cafe at the Water Sports Palace - opposite the stadium is also an ideal place to watch the special fireworks displays.
