The explosion caused 4 serious victims to burn: Loc Khanh Duy (SN 1995, resident of Trung Hoi commune, Dinh Hoa district); Nguyen Quang Chat (SN 1986, resident of Vinh Son commune, Song Cong city); Vu Manh Hung (SN 1989, resident of Huong Son Ward, Thai Nguyen City); Nguyen Xuan Dung (SN 1987, residing in Mo Tra Ward, Song Cong City).
Of these, 3 victims were severely diagnosed and are being treated at the National burns Hospital. A victim was treated at Thai Nguyen C Hospital.
The company determined that during the process of putting scrap in the cooker, the scrap pipe was sealed, caused by the impact of high temperatures.
After the incident, the Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee requested the Chairman of the Song Cong City People's Committee and the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks to urgently visit, encourage and support the victims.
Units strengthen inspection and examination of labor safety assurance, production, and handling of violations of labor safety regulations. Especially in industrial parks and clusters, absolutely do not let similar cases happen.
