The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has just announced the assignment of cadres to the Party Committees of the city's Party agencies.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee agreed to assign Ms. Le Thi Hong Nga - Deputy Secretary (special Secretary) of the Party Committees of the Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies, to be in charge of and manage the Party Committee activities until there are personnel for the Party Committee Secretary.
Ms. Le Thi Hong Nga is also currently holding the position of Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies.
Previously, on August 20, 2025, at the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies, term 2025 - 2030, the new Party Executive Committee of the term with 35 members launched a congress; the Standing Committee has 11 members.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Agencies for the 2025 - 2030 term.
However, on August 25, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi was transferred, assigned and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Head of the Central Committee for Policy and Strategy.
