On September 23, Hau Nghia Commune Police, Tay Ninh Province, said they had received a report from people about the discovery of two bodies of unknown cause in the Sao Mai fountain area, in Tan My Hamlet, Hau Nghia Commune, Tay Ninh Province.
At around 12 o'clock the same day, Mr. Tran Hoang Oanh (born in 1986, living in Can Tho City) was spreading a fish net in the fountain when he discovered a female body wearing a red shirt and black pants floating on the water in a state of being lying on the ground. Mr. Oanh went to report to the police.
Upon receiving the report, Hau Nghia Commune Police arrived at the scene and discovered another male body wearing a black shirt, floating in a lying position on its back, about 5m from the female body.
Through preliminary inspection, the authorities recorded a motorbike with license plate 59Y1-008.64 on the edge of the tunnel. The vehicle left a black jacket (male) and a red jacket (female). In addition, the scene also had a red wire watch, 10 beer cans, a pair of gray women's sandals and a pair of red and black men's sandals.
The cause of death as well as the personal background and background of the two victims have not been determined.
