On September 17, speaking with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Do Minh Tuan - Secretary of the Party Committee of Na Sam commune said that Lang Son Provincial Police coordinated with relevant agencies to examine the scene and conduct an autopsy on the death of a man in the Ky Cung river dam area (Na Sam commune).
According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. Trieu Van Tien (born in 1960, residing in Na Liet village, Na Sam commune) discovered his son, Trieu Van Tam (born in 1985, residing in the same village) dead at the water turbine in the Ky Cung river dam, village 1, Na Sam commune.
Initial investigation determined that Mr. Tam was under the management of drug addicts of Na Sam Commune Police, with a history of addiction of over 10 years.
Previously, at around 8:00 a.m. on September 16, Mr. Tam drove his motorbike away from his house to the center of Na Sam commune. That same evening, people discovered his motorbike parked on the riverbank, about 30m from where the body was discovered, so they reported it to the commune police. The commune police informed the family to come and receive the vehicle.
However, on the night of September 16, Mr. Tam did not return, and on the morning of September 17, his family organized a search and discovered the above incident.
After receiving the report, the professional departments of the Provincial Police in coordination with the People's Procuracy of Region 2 and the Na Sam Commune Police conducted a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and then handed over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.
Currently, the police are continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
