Can Tho City People's Committee has a Decision on the consolidation of the Network Information Security Incident Rescue Team in Can Tho City State Agency (abbreviated as the Rescue Team). According to this Decision, Mr. Vu Thanh Thuc - Deputy Director of Can Tho City Police - is the team leader.

The rescue team performs the task of rescuing network information security incidents, handling and overcoming incidents that cause network information insecurity, including monitoring, collecting, analyzing, detecting, warning, investigating, verifying incidents, preventing incidents, restoring data and restoring normal operation of the information system, shared databases, shared information technology technical infrastructure at the City Data Center, at Party and State agencies, the Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations according to the normal network information security incident rescue process according to regulations.
This is also the city's Unit in the national network incident response network. At the same time, coordinate with the rescue team of provinces and cities in order to respond promptly when the information security incident occurs under the coordination of the Vietnam Cyber Emergency Response Center of the Vietnam Department of Information Security, the National Steering Committee on emergency rescue to ensure network information security; Research, propose and implement solutions to improve professional capacity and effectively rescue incidents to ensure network information security in the city.
The City Police (Standing Response Team) may use the apparatus, means and seals of the agency to perform the duties of the rescue team; As a specialized unit to rescue network information security incidents in Can Tho City State agencies and under the direction of the Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation, Digital Convert and Project 06 of Can Tho City People's Committee.
The Standing Rescue Team is responsible for coordinating the response to network information security incidents, ensuring the necessary means and conditions to maintain the operation of the Rescue Team according to the provisions of law.
The city's departments, branches, sectors and relevant agencies and units are responsible for coordinating with the Rescue Team when incidents occur. Agencies and units with members of the Rescue Team, upon receiving notification from the standing agency, are responsible for prioritizing the direction of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in their agencies and units to participate in rescue work for network information security incidents.
