On June 7, the Department of Construction quickly reported to the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Construction about the construction incident in Son Tien Tourist Area (Ward 4, An Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City).
According to the report, on June 5, the construction project in Son Tien Tourist Area has not yet determined the name of the project because the investor has not provided a construction permit and related legal documents.
The project investor is Son Tien Eco-tourism City Joint Stock Company, the construction contractor and related units have not been provided with information by the investor. At the same time, the investor has not yet provided legal documents.
The project is a flower-shaped dome structure about 15.9m high.
The incident occurred at 7:00 a.m. on June 5, when workers were working on the scaffolding, about 8m high, the result of which caused two workers, Mr. N.V.H (born in 1975, residing in Bien Hoa City) and B.V.M (born in 1963, from Thai Binh), to suffer multiple injuries and died when taken to the hospital.
Due to the new incident, relevant agencies and departments are currently conducting a field investigation, so the official cause of the incident has not been determined, the Department of Construction said.
