Accordingly, from July 23 to July 24, 2025, Phu Tho province will have heavy to very heavy rain, with total measured rainfall ranging from 108 to 176mm in some places (old Yen Lap district). Currently, the water level on Ngoi Gianh reservoir is rising very quickly due to the impact of heavy rain.
To ensure the safe discharge of Ngoi Gianh Lake according to the operating procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee, State-owned One Member Co., Ltd. for Irrigation Works of Phu Tho province issued a document announcing the flood discharge operation plan to keep the lake water level not exceeding the designed flood level as follows:
The expected flood discharge time is from 2:00 p.m., July 25.7; the flood discharge flow is from 28.9m3/s ÷ 86.7m3/s.
The time for finishing the flood discharge when the lake water level is guaranteed to remain at the level according to the operating process.
The State-owned One Member Co., Ltd. for Irrigation Works Exploitation informed people downstream of the area affected by Ngoi Gianh Lake to implement response plans to ensure the safety of people and property of the State and people.
