Phu Yen temporarily seized 35 tons of sugar without legal documents

    On November 21, the Market Management Department of Phu Yen announced that it had just detained 35 tons of sugar without invoices or legal documents.

    According to initial information, at 8:00 a.m. on November 20, 2024, Market Management Team No. 3 (Phu Yen Market Management Department) coordinated with the Economic Police Department, Phu Yen Provincial Police to inspect truck 49H-XX.XXX, traveling in the North - South direction, driven by L.H.P (born 2000, residing in Ninh Thuan province) and the person in charge of the goods.

    During the inspection, the authorities discovered that the truck was transporting 30 tons of white sugar and 5 tons of yellow sugar. At the time of the inspection, P could not present invoices or documents proving the legality of the goods.

    Market Management Team No. 3 has temporarily detained all of the above goods for further handling according to legal regulations.
