In the complicated situation of floods and rising water causing many areas to be isolated, officers and soldiers of the BB85 Battalion ( BB888 Battalion, Dak Lak Provincial Military Command) mobilized by boat and canoe to approach Tuy An Bac commune - an area that is heavily isolated (in the old Phu Yen province). Forces set off early, crossing the rushing water to bring essential necessities to support the people.
Hundreds of boxes of instant noodles, dry food, and drinking water are transported continuously to ensure that no household is hungry during difficult times. Many areas were deeply flooded, with strong currents, vehicles had to move slowly and steer continuously to maintain safety. However, officers and soldiers still persistently stay and carry out their tasks with the spirit of "all for the people".

According to initial statistics, Tuy An Bac commune currently has 16/20 villages that are widely flooded, many households have to go up the ranks to avoid floods, and traffic is completely cut off. In that context, the armed forces of Dak Lak province are not only present on the spot to promptly rescue people, but also help people reduce immediate difficulties and also strengthen the trust and solidarity between the army and the people.
The Provincial Military Command continues to direct forces to organize relief, support the evacuation of people from dangerous areas and transport necessities according to actual needs in each village and hamlet. Units maintain on-duty observation and monitoring of flood developments to proactively deploy response forces when worsening situations may occur.
The proactive and timely actions of the BB888 Regiment and the BB85 Battalion have contributed significantly to minimizing risks, supporting people to overcome the time of severe floods, and maintaining the spirit of solidarity between the army and the people in the context of complex natural disasters.
