According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from this afternoon (September 24), storm No. 9 will affect the Gulf of Tonkin.
To ensure the safety of ships and boats operating in the waters of Quang Ninh, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ninh province requests the Department of Construction, Quang Ninh Maritime Port Authority, Inland Waterway Port Authority, and People's Committees of coastal localities to temporarily suspend licensing of watercraft to go to sea.
It is possible to consider and allow ships to return to shelters, anchor and complete this work before 2:00 p.m. on September 24, 2025; at the same time, temporarily suspend the licensing of sightseeing and accommodation activities at sea.
The temporary suspension of ship licensing will start from 10:00 a.m. on September 24, 2025 and will end when there is a final bulletin on storm No. 9.
