On June 16, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that it had issued a plan to coordinate the organization of the Military, Martial Arts and Sports Festival of the People's Police Region III - Group stage in 2026.
All preparations for the Sports Festival have basically been completed and ready to serve the delegations participating in the competition.
The sports festival gathered 17 teams from local police and schools under the Ministry of Public Security.
It is expected that about 1,500 athletes and nearly 1,000 officers and soldiers from cavalry, military music, specialized motorcycle, martial arts, qigong and professional situation handling forces will participate in the competition and performance.
The event takes place from June 17 - 24 with the contents: Shooting, People's Police martial arts, obstacle course, 7-a-side men's football and pickleball.
The opening ceremony will be held at 7 pm on June 20 at Lam Vien Square, the closing ceremony will take place on June 24 at the Provincial Police Hall.
The highlight of the sports festival is the performance and exchange programs of cavalry forces, specialized motorcycles, military music and professional teams of the Ministry of Public Security at Lam Vien Square, Da Lat pedestrian street, Da Lat market area and around Xuan Huong Lake.
According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the sports festival is an activity towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Security Forces, and at the same time contributes to promoting the local image and celebrating the 11th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2026.
