On the morning of March 17, a serious traffic accident occurred at the roundabout intersection between Tran Quy Cap street - National Highway 1 and National Highway 26 (belonging to Residential Group 1, Ninh Hoa ward), killing a woman on the spot.
According to initial information, at about 8:30 am on the same day, a tractor-trailer with license plate 78H-007. XX was traveling on National Highway 1 in the North - South direction. When reaching the roundabout area, this vehicle turned right to enter National Highway 26.
During the diversion, the tractor-trailer collided with an electric bicycle driven by a woman (identity not yet determined). The collision caused the victim and the vehicle to fall to the road.
As a result, the woman was run over by the tractor-trailer wheel and died on the spot, the electric bicycle was heavily damaged.
Immediately after receiving the news, Ninh Hoa Ward Police coordinated with relevant functional forces to be present at the scene, conduct an examination, investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
The case is being further processed by functional agencies according to regulations.
