According to initial information, the accident occurred at around 8:00 p.m. on April 4 at km630+700 National Highway 1, in Thanh Khe village (Thanh Trach commune).
The motorbike with license plate 73F1-481.xx carrying T.N.H (born in 1992, residing in Thanh Khe village) and H.N.M (born in 1987, residing in Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province), the driver has not been identified, traveling in the North - South direction. When arriving at the above location, he collided with a pedestrian (identity unknown).
The motorbike continued to collide with a truck with license plate 74C-023.xx driven by L.X.T (born in 1985 in Phuoc Thuan commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province) in the South - North direction.
A car with license plate 29K- 047.xx driven by V.V.P (born in 1993, residing in Long Bien District, Hanoi) traveling in the South - North direction crashed into the rear of a truck.
As a result, the accident caused 2 people to die on the spot, 1 person to be taken to the hospital for emergency care and later died.
