On the afternoon of June 23, on An Hoa bridge (Quay bridge), in Rach Gia ward, An Giang province, a traffic accident occurred between a car and many motorbikes, injuring many people and causing serious traffic congestion.
At the scene, a car on the opposite lane collided with many motorbikes moving in the opposite direction. After the collision, many motorbikes fell on the bridge deck, and the front of the car was heavily damaged.
According to many people at the scene, the accident injured many people, and people and functional forces quickly took them to the emergency room. Vehicles were damaged, debris was scattered all over the road surface.

Because the accident happened right on An Hoa bridge - a vital traffic route connecting the central area to Rach Gia city, now Rach Gia ward - it caused serious traffic congestion. The time of the accident was also when the traffic volume was crowded, while the new An Hoa bridge was under construction, so all vehicles had to travel on the existing bridge.
The traffic jam stretched from the central roundabout area to the bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge, many people had to wait a long time to move through this area.
Immediately after receiving the news, the Police, Traffic Police and functional forces quickly arrived at the scene to take the victims to the emergency room, protect the scene, regulate traffic and divert vehicles.
