At around 10:00 a.m. on February 7, at Km157+740 on National Highway 6, in Loong Luong Commune, Van Ho District, Son La Province, a serious traffic accident occurred between a motorbike and a car, killing two people on the spot.
According to initial information, the accident occurred between motorbikes with plate number 89F1-307.33 circulating in the direction of Moc Chau - Hanoi and cars carrying control plate 28C -095.24 moving in the direction of Hanoi - Son La.
After the accident, traffic on the road was congested from 10am to 11pm.
The authorities, including Road Management Department No. 6, Traffic Police, Road Management Office I.1 and local authorities, quickly arrived at the scene to handle the incident, ensuring traffic was smooth again.
Authorities recommend that traffic participants comply with traffic safety regulations, keep safe distance and observe when traveling on roads, especially in areas with high traffic density to avoid unfortunate incidents.
