On December 6, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Lac District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case of "Violating regulations on road traffic participation" and "Handing over a vehicle to a person who is not qualified to drive a vehicle to participate in road traffic" in the serious traffic accident that occurred in Phong Phu commune on December 3.

Accordingly, the traffic accident occurred at 10:30 p.m. on December 3, at Km110+32 National Highway 6, in Trong Phu hamlet, Phong Phu commune.

At this time, the motorbike with license plate 28E1-183.10 was driven by H.C.T (born in 2007, residing in Van Son commune, Tan Lac district), carrying B.Y.N (born in 2012, residing in Phong Phu commune) behind, traveling in the direction of Hanoi - Son La.

When T's car was overtaking a passenger car in the same direction, license plate 27F-000.61 driven by Mr. P.X.H (born in 1985, residing in Tan Thanh ward, Dien Bien Phu city), it suddenly encountered and collided with a tractor-trailer with license plate 26H-001.41 pulling a trailer with license plate 26R-006.88 driven by Mr. P.D.T (born in 1983, residing in Nong Truong town, Moc Chau district, Son La) going from Son La to Hanoi.

The motorbike then fell to the right side of the road and continued to collide with a passenger car with license plate 27F - 000.61 going in the same direction.

As a result, B.Y.N died on the spot and H.C.T was injured.

Preliminary determination of the cause of the accident was due to H.C.T driving a motorbike and overtaking another vehicle without ensuring safety.
