The train number PL1/PL2 will operate fixedly from Monday to Friday every week, serving the pick-up and drop-off of officials and medical staff. Trains stop to pick up and drop off passengers at three stations including: Hanoi station, Giap Bat station and Phu Ly station (Ninh Binh province).
Accordingly, train PL1 departs from Hanoi station at 6:15 am, stops to pick up passengers at Giap Bat station and arrives at Phu Ly station at 7:22 am. After getting off Phu Ly station, medical staff and staff will be arranged for a shuttle bus to be taken directly to Bach Mai Hospital facility 2 to start the working shift.
In the opposite direction, train PL2 departs from Phu Ly station at 5:20 PM and arrives at Hanoi station at 6:30 PM.
To prepare for the official operation day of June 26, Vietnam Railways Corporation has directed member units to urgently complete the operation plan, review vehicles and arrange personnel.
Infrastructure management units are inspecting the railway traffic safety corridor, reviewing intersections between railways and roads along the Hanoi - Phu Ly route. At the same time, Hanoi station, Giap Bat station and Phu Ly station are completing landscape embellishment, environmental sanitation, arranging passenger pick-up and drop-off areas and specialized parking lots, in order to create convenience and ensure safety for medical staff and doctors.
