On November 10, at Km35+400 of DT639, through Chanh Loi village (De Gi commune, Gia Lai), a serious accident occurred between a taxi and a motorbike, causing 1 person to die on the spot and 1 person to be seriously injured.
According to initial information, at around 12:00 on the same day, a taxi with license plate 50H-775.35 driven by Phan Van Bien (born in 2000, residing in Doan Ket village, Ia Tot commune) collided strongly with a motorbike with license plate 68S2-1938 driven by Ms. Nguyen Thi My Len (born in 1983, residing in An Quang Tay village, De Gi commune) carrying her biological mother, Ms. Tran Thi Nhien (born in 1958) turning across the road in the same direction ahead.
The strong collision caused both people on the motorbike to fall onto the road, Ms. Nhien died on the spot, Ms. Len was seriously injured and taken to Gia Lai Central General Hospital for emergency care.
The cause of the accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
