Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Secretary of Hai Phong City Youth Union acknowledged and praised the courageous, responsible, and ready-to-act for the community spirit of Mr. Pham The Huy Hoang and Captain Nguyen Duc Thinh.

Ms. Thuy hopes that beautiful examples will continue to spread positive values, inspiring union members and young people in the city in studying, working and contributing.

Previously, at 2:45 am on June 2, in the area in front of house number 116 Lach Tray (area bordering Gia Vien ward and Le Chan ward, Hai Phong), subject Phan Tuan Hung (born in 1980, residing at number 193 Da Nang, Ngo Quyen ward, Hai Phong) used a knife to injure a woman who was driving a motorbike on the road.

The victim was identified as Ms. Nguyen Thi L (born in 1970, residing in Hung Dao ward, Hai Phong). Ms. L was injured in the face, eyes, thighs and two legs. Initial verification showed that Ms. L and Hung did not know each other and had no conflicts.

According to people's camera footage, while the subject held a knife in both hands, continuously attacking the woman, a young man bravely took a helmet and threw it at the subject, then continued to use fire sprinklers to spray directly at the subject, causing the subject to disperse, lose vision, and stop the inhumane act. This young man is Pham The Huy Hoang (born in 2001, residing in Duong Kinh ward, Hai Phong).

After receiving the report, 6 officers and soldiers of the Crime Prevention Team of Gia Vien Ward Police urgently arrived at the scene and together with the people controlled the subject. While controlling the subject, Phan Tuan Hung used a knife to injure Captain Nguyen Duc Thinh's hand.
