According to initial information, the incident occurred at 1:05 a.m. on October 23 at Km127+300, National Highway 6, in Tong hamlet, Tong Dau commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.
At that time, the tractor truck with license plate 26H-00458 pulling a trailer with license plate 26R-00746 carrying cement, driven by Mr. Nguyen Tu T (born in 1996, Na Muong commune, Moc Chau, Son La) was driving from Hanoi to Son La.
Previously, due to the driver using the brakes too much, the brake system lost its effectiveness, so he drove the car into the escape route at the above location to avoid it. During the driving process, the car tilted to the left side, creating great friction and causing a fire.
Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties, but the tractor and trailer were burned.
Immediately after receiving the news, Tan Lac Traffic Police Station quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated with Mai Chau District Police and mobilized other forces to extinguish the fire, direct traffic and ensure traffic order and safety.
At about 3:20 a.m., the fire was basically extinguished.
Previously, on October 22, a tractor trailer also suddenly caught fire on National Highway 6, through Mai Chau district.
