Tractor trailer fire on Highway 6

    Hoa Binh - While traveling on National Highway 6, through Mai Chau district, a tractor trailer suddenly caught fire.

    According to information from Hoa Binh Provincial Police, the incident occurred at around 4:10 a.m. on October 22, at Km 135+300 National Highway 6, in Vat hamlet, Dong Tan commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.

    At that time, the tractor with license plate 17H-002.56 and trailer with license plate 17R-007.88, driven by Mr. Vu Huy B (born in 1987, residing in An My, Quynh Phu, Thai Binh) in the direction of Son La - Hoa Binh, suddenly caught fire.

    As soon as it was discovered, the driver stopped the vehicle and removed the tractor from the trailer.

    Upon receiving the news, forces were present at the scene to extinguish the fire, regulate and divert traffic to avoid congestion.

    The initial cause of the fire was determined to be due to the vehicle's brakes causing heat and fire.

    The fire caused damage to a trailer with license plate 17R-007.88 and a cargo container carrying 20 tons of corn, estimated at about 400 million VND.
