On February 28, Nhat Le Border Guard Station (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard) said that it had just coordinated with people to discover a body suspected to be a woman in the area.
According to initial information, at about 3 pm on the same day, functional forces and people discovered a body floating on the water at Nhat Le estuary, in TDP 7 Hai Thanh area, Dong Hoi ward. The body was wearing a red shirt and black pants.
Immediately after the discovery, the forces proceeded to blockade the area and organize the salvage of the body ashore to serve the verification and clarification of the cause of the incident.
Currently, the case is being further investigated by functional agencies in accordance with the law.
