On July 3, Tuyen Quang Provincial Statistics announced socio-economic development statistics for the first 6 months of 2026, officially announcing the results of the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census and the results of the survey, synthesis, and calculation of total product value (GO) targets, and average income per capita at commune level in 2025.
This is also the first time the province has organized an investigation, collection, and unified calculation of two important economic indicators: total product value and average income per capita of 124 communes and wards.
The survey results also showed that Minh Xuan ward has the highest average income per capita in Tuyen Quang province, reaching about 88 million VND/person/year. The lowest is Giap Trung commune with over 21 million VND/person/year.
The above data reflects the development gap between localities and is identified as the basis for Tuyen Quang province to build solutions to narrow the development gap in the coming time.

According to the press release of Tuyen Quang Provincial Statistics, in the first 6 months of 2026, the province continued to maintain positive growth momentum. Gross regional domestic product (GRDP) is estimated to increase by 7.72% compared to the same period in 2025, the scale of the economy reached 46,907 billion VND.
State budget revenue reached 4,228.5 billion VND, an increase of 28.44%. Total social development investment capital reached 13,576.2 billion VND, an increase of 3.26%. Industrial production index increased by 9.3%; export turnover reached 301.14 million USD.
As of June 24, Tuyen Quang province had 574 newly established businesses, an increase of 66% over the same period, with a total registered capital of over 3,811 billion VND. Tourism continued to improve with about 2.09 million visitors, total spending reached 5.857 billion VND.
The results of the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in Tuyen Quang show that the whole province has 321,725 households in rural areas, of which 256,392 households produce agricultural, forestry and fishery products, accounting for 79.69%.
Tuyen Quang province has 636,295 rural workers, of which agricultural, forestry and fishery workers account for 91.46%. Rural infrastructure continues to improve with 100% of communes having electricity, 100% of communes having kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and 100% of communes having solid health stations.
Also in the first 6 months of 2026, 10 natural disasters occurred throughout Tuyen Quang province, killing 2 people, injuring 9 people, and about 1,690 houses were damaged or had their roofs blown off, with total estimated damage of about 259 billion VND.
