On April 28, the Military Command (CHQS) of Hue City organized a conference to receive and hand over the positions of Commander and Political Commissar of the City Military Command. The conference was co-chaired by Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Delegation of National Assembly Deputies of Hue City, Secretary of the City Military Party Committee.
According to the decision of the Minister of National Defense, Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Commander of Hue City Military Command; Colonel Le Hong Viet was appointed to hold the position of Political Commissar of Hue City Military Command.
At the same time, Colonel Phan Thang and Colonel Truong Viet Hai were transferred and appointed to hold corresponding positions at the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command.
Speaking to assign tasks, Hue City Party Secretary Nguyen Dinh Trung emphasized that receiving and handing over responsibilities and tasks is an inevitable requirement in personnel work, in order to ensure the inheritance, stability and continuous development of the city's armed forces.
He acknowledged the contributions of cadres who were mobilized and rotated over the past time; and at the same time assessed that the city's armed forces have well promoted their core advisory role in national defense and local military tasks, maintaining political stability and social order and safety.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the appointed officials to quickly stabilize the organization, firmly grasp the local situation, proactively advise on the effective implementation of local defense and military tasks; build an "efficient, streamlined, strong" armed force, and improve combat readiness.
Concluding the conference, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh affirmed that the rotation and arrangement of cadres is an important policy to build a contingent of cadres with bravery and comprehensive capacity, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
