Recorded on the morning of June 11, many traders at Dong Xuan market (Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi) opened their doors. Here, when selling goods, many traders have not yet issued electronic invoices to buyers.
Explaining why electronic invoices have not been issued when selling, Ms. Lien - a trader at Dong Xuan market - shared: "Here, buying and selling activities are still mainly done manually, with cash payment, retail customers only buy a few hundred thousand dong, and there are regular customers, they also do not ask". Similarly, Mr. Tuyen (62 years old) - a trader at Dong Xuan market knows: "If customers buy retail for tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of VND, who needs an invoice?"
According to Mr. Tuyen, although the tax authority has supported the use of phones to issue electronic invoices to buyers when selling goods. However, he felt difficulties in technology skills and implementation was not simple, so it took a lot of time when issuing electronic invoices to buyers.
A trader at Dong Xuan market suggested: "If I were supported with simple and fast-operated invoice issuance equipment, I think people would be more assured. Hopefully the State will have appropriate support policies. Tightening regulations on issuing electronic invoices is a step forward to make the market transparent and prevent tax losses. However, for the policy to be put into practice effectively, flexibility in organization and implementation is needed".
